meeting Mickey, Minnie, Tigger, Pooh, Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and most important -

Flynn Rider and Rapunzel among MANY others

riding Dumbo, the Magic Carpets, and the tea cups

eating with princesses in a castle

meeting Shamu

feeding dolphins, string rays and sharks

going to the beach

swimming some more in the pool

eating breakfast with Mickey and his friends

eating lunch with Pooh and his friends

swimming a little more

...and then flying back home.

We had a fabulous time in FL and now we're adjusting to life back in normal routine... which means - PINK, PEARLS & PIGTAILS is OPEN AGAIN!!!! Feel free to begin requesting orders again!

Tangled!

Our household has been awaiting March 29th for quite a while now... TANGLED came out on DVD today. Addison was excited for obvious reasons while Todd and I were excited because that meant we wouldn't have to go back to the theaters again to watch Tangled and we could stop watching all the clips from You Tube. Addison received her pre-ordered Tangled DVD tonight when her Mimi and Pop Pop arrived at our house.

(Note - she's wearing her Rapunzel pjs and has her Rapunzel/Flynn bow in her hair.)

Something for the Mommy's!

I saw these adorable crocheted headbands in a store. I put one in the cart but before I actually made it to the check-out line, I decided maaaaaybe I could figure out how to make them... sure enough, here they are!

These have a vintage look that is super cute and go with about anything. You tie them around your head using the ribbon - that way they fit everyone.

These are even cute for those "older girls" who are breaking their Mommy's hearts because they're refusing to wear hairbows anymore.

All this rain has me makin' flowers!

I have been making these special little rosettes for a long time, but always shipped them off before I remembered to take a picture for the blog. I finally have some pictures so they can officially be a part of the blog...

These are SUPER cute and trendy for Mommy's and darling daughters! I have quite the drawer full for myself! Here are a few ideas of how you can use them:

- add them as a brooch to a solid color sweater to spice it up

- a hair accessory to go with some spring/summer clothes for the little girl in your life

- order on a headband for a little girl

- order on a stretch baby headband for baby pictures (I have a SUPER cute vintage rosette added to peacock feathers on a lace headband) that will be ADORABLE on an infant for pictures

- I've also seen them used to spice up frames, mirrors, canisters... you name it, I've seen it!

- and believe me, I have my share of headbands with these rosettes on them as well as quite a handful of rosettes on clips that I can just throw in my hair for an added touch!
